For our client in the manufacturing industry we are looking for a Sitecore (Backend) Developer
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (+ extension)
Language: Dutch (preferable) or English
Location: West Flanders
Our client is currently planning to improve the usability of their web applications (Extranet and corporate website). The functional goal of the project is to improve 'the user friendlyness' of the web applications for several stakeholders and end users (internal staff and other external third parties/website visitors ie clients and other target groups). The scope of the project consists of restyling and refactoring both the Extranet and the company website. One of the main tasks is to build extra functionalities on top of the existing web applications and rewrite components in order to create higher performance and better user experience. One of the components which need review are ie the (web) mailing system and the back log (system). You will work in a SCRUM based environment and will have close collaboration with the Team which consist of 2 Back End developers, 1 UX Designer and 1 SCRUM Master/Team Lead.
Skills:
- 2+ years working experience with Sitecore CMS (7.2)
- Good development skills in C#,
- Solid hands-on knowledge in HTML(5)/CSS, JavaScript and SQL server
- Next to seamless skills in Back End development a previous experience in pure Front End development is a very big plus
- Soft skills: you are an excellent assertive communicator who is able to show initiative and who is receptive to feedback/other ideas from the team
- Fluent Dutch speaking (big plus) or English
