Our client seeks an experienced interim CIO to lead their dynamic and advanced technology offering. Highly advantageous although not essential would be a background in and knowledge of the "Internet of things"; M2M and telemetry. Experience and understanding of offshore, outsourcing and transferring services over to a cloud-based model would be essential. You will be responsible for evaluating the current status of software development, infrastructure and the overall technological offering and landscape and then make recommendations to the board and help to implement those recommendations. You will report directly to the CEO and have an already impressive portfolio of assignments which demonstrate successful evaluations followed by recommendations, followed by implementations.
