Description
I am currently recruiting for an an enthusiastic engineer who has experience building native applications for iOS devices to join the development team, reporting into the the Team Lead.Must haves:
· Solid experience building mobile user interfaces for iOS (iOS 6+) - written with native code
· Good knowledge of object-oriented and asynchronous programming techniques
· Experience implementing common software design patterns (i.e. MVC, MVVM)
· A good working knowledge of consuming RESTful services, XML, and JSON in iOS apps
· Awareness of the limitations, quirks and best practises with mobile devices
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
· Experience working with bug management and source control systems; particularly Git.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Good written and verbal communication skills in English
· A keenness to work as a team and collaborate to succeed
Desirables:
Also great to have:
· Knowledge of broadcast and on-demand video delivery to mobile devices.
· Knowledge of client-based DRM technologies
· Experience delivering software in large teams using Agile or Lean methodologies
· An appreciation of good user experience and interaction design
· Knowledge of other client technologies, such as Android, Win Phone or HTML/JavaScript/CSS
· Development of websites for mobile devices - using frameworks like jQuery Mobile
· Experience of testing mobile applications
