Description
Growing company has an immediate need for a Business Analyst on an indefinite contract basis. You will work in a fast pace environment, working closely with Developers, Testing, and Project Managers to ensure software-related projects, specifically E-commerce, exceed expectations. This position is available immediately and does have the potential to go permanent down the road.
Responsibilities:
Gather and document detailed tech requirements for project (meet with users, analyze with team).
Work independently and in conjunction with PM and team to keep them up to date with project status.
Have requirement gathering sessions, log minutes, execute actions items, own documentation.
Handle scopes and communicates with business stakeholders on project status.
Collaborate with Dev and QA throughout project life cycle to make sure requirements are understood and development is aligned.
Reviews test cases and plans from the team, negotiates testing scope and timelines, reviews test scripts, reviews defects as needed.
Drives the UAT with the business users including performing assigned parts of the UAT and performing some test scenarios.
Job Requirements
5+ years' business analysis experience in a web-based environment.
Must understand Web Services.
Strong preference for past programming experience with any language.
Skilled at soliciting and documenting requirements
Experience working with distributed teams and relationship building with stakeholders who are also not located within the same geographical area.
Exposure to the full project life cycle, from inception to user acceptance testing to go live.
