Infrastructure Project Manager

Description

• Manage contact with all stakeholders, within headquarters and local teams. Provide relevant and timely reporting. Act as a Single Point of Contact' and point of escalation
• Liaise with us Transformation Office and Project Management Organization on cross functional projects
• Identify process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize processes and reduce costs of projects
• Key initiatives and current projects are:
• Consolidation and virtualization of server landscape
• Support and coordinate European Office365 roll out
• Supporting new infrastructure requirements in various European offices
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

• At least 4 years project management experience
• Required knowledge and experience in infrastructure projects
• Experience of change management programs across, multiple European locations and diverse cultures
• Strong communicator on high interpersonal level; able to influence, motivate and convince at all levels of the organisation.
• Proven ability to encourage and develop teamwork across groups and manage cross functional virtual teams within a Matrix organization
• Proactive and self-motivated work style with helicopter view and proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a high proficiency level, ideally ability to speak at least one other European language
• Ability to travel within Europe around 40% of the time
