Our client requires a Data Protector Consultant with VMS support experience.
The role will be based in Dublin, Ireland, this is an initial 2 year daily rate contract role.

Job Description:
The consultant is a Subject Matter Expert in the area Backup and Recovery. As a member of the EMEA team this role is responsible for all the steps related to delivering large enterprise Backup and Recovery projects including: defining end-user access, mapping extraction and migration of source data, transformation, and data migration validation methods; defining critical workflow procedures and tools to make the common archive processes repeatable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on technical expertise for the scoping, design and deployment of backup and recovery arc
- Assist with preparation an presentation of proposals (ROM, SOW, RFP Responses) including crafting and positioning solutions
- Create and contribute reusable technical IP that can be leveraged to increase the knowledge level of other members of the team
- Understands a broad spectrum of HP technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements
- Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
- Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project.

Experience:
- Candidate must have demonstrated ability to support all aspects of design, architecture and implementation from requirements gathering to through post go-live activities for archiving/ILM projects
- Candidate should have 8+ years of experience implementing backup and restore applications
- Extensive experience in business process analysis and requirements development working with global companies related to business systems archiving involving record or data archiving, including data center/application consolidation and Legacy application archiving
