Website Tester - Glasgow - CQ5, Drupal, Umbraco, Agile
Square One are looking for a Web tester to come on board for a 3 month rolling contract based in Glasgow.
1. Produce and obtain sign off for all test deliverables including test approach/strategy, estimates, plans, scripts, data, roles/responsibilities, reporting and defect logging.
2. Work closely with the project team (product owner, stakeholders, subject-matter experts, developers, analysts, architects, user experience designers, content strategists and managers) in an Agile environment to ensure testing meets time, cost and quality requirements.
3. Manage small-scale test delivery. This includes recruiting and coordinating business resource, managing test risks and issues, delivering end-to-end testing to plan and budget and managing up to 2 test resources
4. Execute all test phases including functional. non-functional, user acceptance, operational, regression and accessibility testing. Execute or manage third party execution of load/performance testing.

Agreed project/change initiative deliverables, which will vary by assignment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience testing websites deployed using an enterprise content management system (ideally Adobe CQ5 but not essential) across multiple devices, browsers and operating systems.
Experience of functional, non-functional, operational, user acceptance, regression and accessibility testing - including verifying that web content adheres to W3C standards. Web performance/load testing experience optional but desirable.
Proven track record in a Test Analyst role on small to medium size projects, using a diverse range of test analysis best practices, methodologies and tools (ideally Quality Centre) across the entire development life cycle.
ISEB Practitioner certified (optional) with Agile testing experience (eg exploratory testing) within a SCRUM environment.
Experience of testing SOA web services.
ISEB qualified is desirable although not essential.
This is a 3 month rolling contract based in Glasgow looking to start immediately paying excellent daily rates.
