Specific Skills Required:
Network Analyst with high-level experience in installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and design of Cisco WAN infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • Cisco 2800, 3000 and 4000 series Routers
  • Cisco ASR 9001 Internet Router
  • Cisco Nexus 5000,6000 Routers
  • Cisco Nexus 7000 core Router set in a redundant configuration
  • Cisco FEX
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Documentation skills utilizing MS Word, Excel and Visio
  • Monitoring and configuration tools CA E-Health, Spectrum, HP IMC
  • Cisco NAM
  • IOS system patching and testing

Preferred Skills:

  • Cisco CCNP in routing and switching
  • 15 years' experience in Government and/or educational environments.
  • Have experience 275+ site network
  • Cisco SMARTnet and maintaining support contracts
  • Firewall and VPN

Scope of Work, Description of Duties, Extent of Responsibilities:

Proactively monitor and maintain a large WAN network ensuring high performance, security, and quick issue resolution. Participate in Design, expansion, and security meetings with vendors, and site administration. Have the ability to work after hours and weekend work as required.
