Ruby Contract - Ruby/Rails/Jenkins/Git/Cucumber - Initially 3 months
Our E-commerce client is working with us exclusively to hire 2 x Ruby contractors to come on board ASAP for an initial 3 month contract. There is more work than the initial 3 months so assuming all goes well this contract will extend.
They need someone with outstanding Ruby ability who can hit the ground running and take over from the current development team.
This role is working in a cross-functional team, with main responsibilities being:
*Writing, maintaining and testing Ruby code
*Helping to ensure best practises are achieved and maintained
*Providing support to the rest of the team
Tech stack:
*Ruby/Rails
*Some Java experience would be ideal
*JavaScript knowledge (ExtJS)
*OO design ability
*TDD/Jenkins/Git/Cucumber
*Agile
You need to be:
*Self-motivated
*Problem solver
*Any E-commerce experience is a desirable extra
