Contract Ruby Software Developer/Analyst- Nottingham- 12 months- 350p/d max
I am looking for a contract Software Developer with Ruby experience for a key Financial client based in Nottingham.
Required skills include:
Hands on experience in programming Ruby
Experience in developing scalable web based applications using Ruby
Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures
Excellent programming and debugging skills
Ability to work on large-scale software projects
Experience with distributed systems and web services
Good exposure to MySQL and writing SQL queries
Working exposure on Unix/Linux Operating System
Expertise in Webservices (RESTful or SOAP)
This Ruby contract will be long term and allow the contractor to get involved in a large project. You will understand and participate in the design discussions and implement them into robust code,
increasing overall code, product, design and quality within the organization.
