Job Responsibilities:- This position will provide operational support of the Tidal Enterprise Scheduler and Transporter software.
- This person will utilize Tidal Enterprise Scheduler functions to establish job streams with complex dependencies, perform command line automation and manage intricate calendar schedules.
- Monitoring and interacting with jobs.
- Setting job rules and defining critical schedule dependencies.
- Preventative detection and maintenance of job streams and the schedule.
- Job stream analysis and provide recommendations for optimization of schedule performance.
- Implementation and documentation of best practices, processes and training.
- Defining and implementing ongoing support model.
- Creating and maintaining complex calendars.
- Managing maintenance and emergency outage windows on critical application Servers.
- Participate in on-call rotation during off-shift hours and weekends.
- Computer related or Engineering related four year College or University Degree or equivalent IT work experience
- One to three years of progressively responsible IT job related experiences
- Previous job scheduling (Mainframe or distributed) is required.
- Excellent Analysis, Decision Making, Problem solving, Interpersonal Skills, customer services, Planning and Organizing, and Teamwork job related characteristics.
- Knowledge of the tools like email, MS Office, Ticketing tools
- IT experience related to programming, integration or infrastructure support.
- Tidal Scheduler experience is a plus.
