GNOC Solution Sales Consultant

General Information:
Job Title: GNOC Solution Sales Consultant

Location: Based in Shenzhen, China

Job Summary:
The incumbent is mainly responsible for supporting MS GNOC solution business development and sales GNOC Solution for global key MS projects, and training selected sales staff in both HQ and Regions.

Business development: being actively involved in C-level customer communications (eg customer visit, workshop, industry conference, etc) to generate MS GNOC leads and convert those leads to realistic opportunities by consultative selling.
Sales Solution: supporting sales engagements for global key MS projects (Operation Centralization) in terms of deal shaping, solution architecture (including both technical and commercial solutions), proposal development, bidding clarification, business case, and contract negotiation, etc.
Training: acting as mentor and coach to selected MS sales staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS sales engagements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update MS GNOC solution architecture, technical proposal template, and relevant sales tools, and promote the documents and tools globally.
  • Support MS solution development for key MS projects (Operation Centralization), the key activities are shown below:
    • Collect and analyze customer needs and OPEX information, identify and assess GNOC sales opportunities and design consultative selling strategies and tactics for those opportunities.
    • Lead and/or support C-level customer communications (eg customer visits, workshops, industry conference, etc) to execute consultative selling strategies and tactics in globe where required.
    • Advise MS solution team on developing viable Business Cases and presenting GNOC values and benefits to the customer, and support Due Diligence and contract negotiation where required.
    • Build and leverage high level customer relationships to facilitate GNOC sales engagements and project deliveries.
  • Act as mentor and coach to selected MS sales staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS sales engagements.
  • Compile project experiences and successful cases, conduct in-house or remote training sessions, and facilitate global knowledge transfer.
  • Other duties may be assigned to business needs and management decisions.

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • University degree or above, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years telecom operator or vendor experience, strong background of GNOC operation, with experience of selling MS GNOC solutions. (eg GNOC migration solution, HC dimensioning, etc. ) to wireless & fixed Operators;
  • in-depth insight of customer's concerns (eg network security, transparency, governance, language etc.) of GNOC solution and influence customer executives' decision making.
  • Exceptional business and solution skills with the ability to shape large and complex MS deals, conduct consultative selling, develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics, architect complex MS solutions. Proven track records in high value MS sales.
  • Strong networking and relationship building towards operators' CXO customers.
  • Outstanding communication (verbal & written) and negotiation skills with the ability to lead, influence and drive complex deal shaping and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex projects from the initial period to successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and financial understanding.
  • Have in-depth understanding about the ETOM/ITIL;
  • Must be a team player and posses exemplary managerial skills.

Environmental Conditions:
Typical office environments, expected to undertake considerable global travel in course of duties.
