My Investment Banking client is looking to fill a unique role which could be suitable to an ex-trader, Front Office trading analyst or perhaps Sales person or niche change consultant. This is a largely regulator driven initiative but linked closely with Sales strategy and Trading efficiency - the bank is looking to trade as efficiently and profitably as possible, within the strict guidelines laid down by the regulators (specifically those guarding against insolvency risk). It falls under what could be described as Sales Strategy and Sales Structuring. The typical products covered are OTC, FX and Rates and any candidate should be able to show why/how they have this product knowledge.

Please note, the client is not looking for someone at the administrative end of the Business Manager/Sales Strategy role. They are looking for someone who has had more exposure to the sales side of the business as that's where they are trying to drive the change. In term of less administration, they mean not just driving and administering change but giving the business options around change and the pro's and con's of those various options. Then once decision has been made on the best option, driving the change through to completion. If you have this with direct exposure to sales and how the function is evolving that would be very useful

In this role you will liaise with various departments as you would expect - legal, finance, operations etc.
