The role will be expected to be "content rich" and will be responsible for working with our business partners and functional, data and technical architects to agree the change and functional design and creation of all associated documentation required for technology teams to deliver. The role is 'front to back' and includes working with test team and business in functional and UAT phases and cutover of the solution. • Provide input into the production of technical design, ensuring technical specifications deliver the required functionality.
    • Providing support to test team, by reviewing test cases, test results, defects etc. and ensuring output of functional testing meets entry criteria for UAT.
    • Responsible for working with business on cutover planning, training, post implementation reviews etc. to ensure the solution is fully adopted and embedded within the 'to be' business operating model.
    • Attend key governance routines and provide design and technical input into key project meetings.
    • Translate business strategy/request into executable and understandable artifacts for developers. Specifically the creation & maintenance of detailed functional specifications covering all deliverables (process, people, IT, control).
    • Work with development team leads to help them understand requirements fully and review development and project plans to ensure sufficient level of detail is in place to ensure delivery.
    • Interface with all required areas within the firm: Technology, Treasury and other group functions.

Skills required:
    • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, including ability to think beyond what the users initially put forward as requirements and factor in the appropriate level of functional and technical future proofing.
    • Good understanding of Agile principles and documentation of user stories and use cases.
    • Good understanding of best practice business processes and controls and application of those principles to the end solution.
    • Understand how to complete the project such that the solution is fully adopted and integrated within the business operating model and considered early enough in the project.
    • Production of high quality auditable artefacts and signoffs that adhere to the agreed project lifecycle standards.
    • Ability to effectively engage and work with a global team.
    • An excellent understanding and working knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity reporting would be beneficial.
