Job Role & Responsibilities:Ideal applicants will have extensive experience (3 years +) working with the whole SQL BI stack. Applicants should be able to write complex SQL Queries and should have also created OLAP cubes. Any experience with Cognos, Microstrategy or Business Objects is very beneficial.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced BI Developer who can work both with minimal supervision and as part of a team and who has strong visualisation and a graphical eye.
In this position you would be hands on technically but also overseeing a team of three analysts providing them with mentoring and technical advice when needed. Previous management experience is not a requirement.
Desirable Experience:
* Extensive experience working with the whole SQL BI Stack
* The ability to write complex SQL queries and SQL script
* Experience creating OLAP Cubes
* Experience Microstrategy very beneficial
* The ability to confidently engage with managers and senior stakeholders within the business
* Previous experience with requirement gathering and putting together briefs
