Operations and Delivery Manager - 6 months -Oxford
Computer Futures are working a unique opportunity which has risen for a dynamic, proactive and assertive individual to join the Operations and Delivery Team as an Operations and Delivery Manager for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR). This is as a secondment or a fix term contract for six months.
This post is a key in leading on specific EPRR work streams for NHS England-South Central local regional office and the newly formed EPRR team. This may also require stepping up into a response role in a major/significant incident if required.
Candidates should have experience in all aspects of EPRR and have detailed knowledge of the NHS and the multi-agency partners that form the Local Resilience Forums. Reporting to the Head of EPRR this post will be based at Jubilee House, on the Oxford Cowley Business Park
Key Job Specific Responsibilities
- To support the implementation of an effective emergency preparedness and
resilience and response systems for the NHS in the Thames Valley;
- To support effective business continuity processes internally and across the
NHS organisations in the Thames Valley;
- To support the local management of predictable events (i.e. Winter, Pandemic
Influenza) and other less predictable events such as industrial action;
- To ensure that systems, processes and information flows provide effective
early warning of potential risks to service quality and partnerships and support
Interventions where required to ensure high quality outcomes;
- To identify and share areas of best practice across the AT and beyond in order to support continuous improvement;
The position is going to last initially 6 months. This is highly probable to last longer.
