A great opportunity has arisen for an Operational Risk Business Partner with my client: one of the UK's largest banking groups. The purpose of the role is to support the Operational Risk Business Partnering team to implement operational risk and framework across various functions. The Operational Risk Business Partner will ensure that framework remains fit for purpose and supports operational risks against risk appetite, as well as delivering required enhancements. They will support the provision of policy and guidance documents to support the framework and deliver training on selected elements to risk specialists. In addition, the role will provide technical expertise.
The successful candidate must:
* Have relevant experience within banking/financial services.
* Have experience working within front line or second line of defence in operational risk;
* Have proven implementation experience;
* Demonstrate capabilities in relation to risk and control assessments, loss event capture and analysis, Issues/Findings and Actions Plans;
* Have experience in the development/embedding of an ORM framework.
The role is a 6 month contract, paying a maximum rate of £450 and will be based in Edinburgh.
