Description
The Role:
As a member of our E-commerce development team you will be responsible for the platform and will directly contribute to its success. You will take full responsibility for solving problems and retain ownership throughout the entire development life cycle into production and beyond.
All members of the E-commerce team need to be:

- Transparent in communicating progress and obstacles
- Creative, yet organised, in their approach to writing software and solving problems

- Driven to be a technical authority and someone other team members look to for advice, support and guidance
- People focused; your primary job remains the same (the same as what?). However you'll be expected to solve bigger and more complex problems meaning you'll need to work with more people across a larger corporate landscape
- Our technical lead is expected to be:
- Accepted and recognised by the whole team and beyond as a credible technical authority
- Accountable for the overall technical solution
- Focused on delivering exceptional business value through technology and approach

- Building scalable solutions which leverage the capabilities of AWS

- Automated unit, functional and behavioural testing
- Familiarity with continuous delivery
