Description
Summary:- As an Engine Electronics Validation Engineer, you will facilitate the development, validation, and deployment of electronics control systems supporting the client's diesel engine NPI programs.
- Areas of responsibility include test plan development, validation execution in simulation environment, validation execution through on-engine testing, data analysis and issue resolution.
- Significant coordination and interfacing is required to execute the job responsibilities.
- Test and verify components and software strategy operation on benches, in test cells, and on vehicles
- Perform system validation of solutions and strategies to insure 100% effectiveness
- Project schedule coordination with the team
- Diagnostic and Service Test system validation
- Robust integration validation
- FMEA engagement and proactive risk mitigation
- Field data and diagnostic monitoring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated clear commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment.
- Ability to use PC tools such as MS Office, Visio
- 2 + years experience developing and/or validation of Embedded control system applications
- Experience with direct injected diesel engine controls
- Experience with HIL Simulation
- Experience using Matlab/Simulink in software development
- Experience utilizing development and data analysis tools (eg CANape, CANcase, eDaq, etc.)
- Experience working with customers and suppliers
