Server Decommissioning Engineer - Derby - SC Cleared - 6 month contract
Square One are looking for a Server decommissioning engineer to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Derby.
Decommissioning of Servers to already tried and tested processes:
Carry out the auditing of Servers in the Data Centre
Carry out the execution of the HP EG-C decommissioning activities to auditable standards.
Work with other suppliers to the RR MLDC activities to result in the disposal of a number of Servers over a two month period.
The process is massively simplified. We're now removing whole racks and transporting to another site rather than individual HDDs in situ
The timeline has stretched out to end of November
The scope has expanded to include some network and HPC equipment
This is a 6 month contract role based in Derby paying market rates with a start date of 15th June 2015.
Interviews will be scheduled for next week via the telephone with a view to go straight to offer.
