Statistics AnalystOne of the UK's largest Banks are looking for SAS Analyst to join permanently!
This is a team who play a critical role in ensuring the Business Banking strategy is guided to the right objectives.
The team hold the duty to lead and manage the the procedures around gaining agreements on banking priorities combined with performance boosting against the strategy.
To achieve this, the team is made of individuals who are able to identify performance improvements internally and externally across the wider market whilst working with business stakeholders, solutions design and creating plans that will ultimately deliver the strategy.
The role of the Senior Analyst is to support the team in achieving these objectives by using quantitative data analysis to
- Understand the business and identify core challenges and opportunities.
- Prioritise actions that can drive a step-change in performance
- Develop solutions with business stakeholders
Candidate profile:
- Education to degree level is essential, must be either numeric based or statistics based
- Must have experience in using SAS software
- Not someone who processes data but someone who can MODEL data
- Track record in being the interface between external business stakeholders and the data that is being modelled
- Data and Number confident, must be able to learn and be accurate from day 1
- Financial Services experience is not essential but preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal skills

Salary circa £30,000 - £38,000 per annum + Package
