Description
Senior Visual/Interface Designer consultant is needed to work for this Tier1 investment bank based in their Montreal Office for a 6-12 month contract (likely to extend) paying market leading rates.
In the role you will be responsible for an exciting new campaign of ongoing work to include visual design of user interfaces for web-based, hand-held mobile, and desktop applications offering lots of work diversity.
Core Skills needed:
The successful candidate will have 5 years + experience working as a Senior Visual Designer/Interface Designer plus Portfolio
Other skills:
- Follow an iterative User-Centred Design Processes
- Work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary design teams
- Be able to Create Detailed Interaction and User Interface Designs
- Create innovative visual language for User Interfaces
- Define and create graphic systems & style guides
Desired skills:
It is desirable you have some financial services industry experience (though not essential as most of existing team come from an agency background)
Strong Interaction Design Skills
Strong Visual Design & Communication Skills
Experience with Web application or Software design (AJAX/FLEX technologies)
Financial Services industry experience a plus
Although urgent the client is prepared to wait 4 weeks for people on notice periods. English speaking role French not required.
