Infrastructure Software Engineer - 24 Months - Brussels/Luxembourg
Infrastructure Software Engineer required for one of my client to be based in Brussels or Luxembourg
Task description
- Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended by the Software Architect
- Design, development, tests, documentation, release control, maintenance and technical support of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications
- Proof of concept, prototyping of infrastructure solutions
- Technical responsibility for infrastructure development projects
- Assistance and support to software architects and information system developers
- Provision of technical studies, technical expertise, technical evaluations in relation with information systems infrastructure
- Production of technical documentation
- Assistance with configuration of the system for production deployment and in training administrators and users
- Participation in meetings within the Commission
Knowledge and Skills
- Up to date know-how in Internet web applications development.
- Java (JEE), PHP or .NET technologies
- ColdFusion
- Relational database management technology
- Component-based and service oriented applications development
- UML modelling language
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Technical redaction skills in English.
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English or French), good communicator.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
