A leading NHS hospital require a qualified finance manager to provide cover for up to 6 months until a long-term appointment can be made.
This is an excellent opportunity for a band 8A/B finance manager with recent financial management experience at an NHS acute trust.
Essential Criteria:
- CCAB qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA)
- Band 8A/B
- NHS acute or foundation trust
- Finance Manager (financial management)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial management
- Supporting the Assistant Director
- Liaising with budget holders
- Budget setting and forecasting
- Monthly reporting to the Head of Financial Management
- Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) monitoring and tracking
- Staff supervision
