Solutions Architect, .NET, TFS, MVC, C# - Yorkshire, Leeds, York,

A solutions architect is urgently needed to work on a range of third party and in house developed systems. The in house systems are mainly Microsoft ( .NET, C#, MVC, Team Foundation Server - TFS), integrated with third party solutions using BizTalk.

Role

Reporting to the Architecture Manager, this architect will assist with:

  • solution architecture, high-level design, prototyping, low level design, and overall technical ownership of end-to-end development projects from proposition to realisation

  • delivery of large and/or complex projects either developed internally or with an external development partner

Required Skills & Experience

  • Application development preferably in C#, .NET, MVC, Entity Framework, utilising TFS for software management

  • Strong Solution Analysis and Design

  • Full Lifecycle Application Development

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to present complex technical solutions to all levels of colleagues both internal and external to IT

  • Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and be a good team player

It would be advantageous to have knowledge of infrastructure, incorporating Network, Servers, Enterprise Storage, Backup, Cloud/Hybrid/On premise operation, Operating Systems etc but this is not essential for the right candidate

Initial contracts will be for 3 months with a high likelihood of extensions.
