We have an opening for a Senior Analytics Specialist for a high visibility, enterprise project!
Project Details:
- This person will be a key player in researching, developing, and implementing advanced quantitative models to improve operating efficiency, reduce cost, and increase revenue
- You will have direct contact with business partners and you will participate in identifying business requirements, collecting and performing big data analysis, developing models, and generating reports to address business needs
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in industrial engineering, statistics, operations research, or related engineering and management discipline is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of predictive data mining techniques
- Experience in big data analysis, developing, verification/validation, and deployment of quantitative models
- Experience with simulation software (eg AnyLogic) and with statistical software/data mining tools
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language and experience with SQL and relational databases is required
- Knowledge of commercial optimization solvers, ie CPLEX is a plus!
