Good afternoon,My Client, a leading pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager in Basel for 6 months
This position requires the following skills:
- Strong working knowledge of analytical laboratory operations with a focus on analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical quality control.
- Minimum 7 years in regulated industry with a focus on laboratory operations,laboratory and 3rd party management.
- Good understanding of cGMPs, industry and regulatory standards and guidelines, strong ethical foundation and a sound compliance understanding.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles and concepts in chemical and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Experience with databases and data management systems.
- English fluent in speaking/writing.
This position entitles these main duties:
- Manage cross-site API QC workflow and QC projects
- Build and foster QC network with global internal and external laboratories
- Provide meaningful input to overall strategy including design of processes and tools to create oversight on global activities
- Lead or participate in task force teams to ensure compliance
- Perform gap assessments for API testing portfolio
- Coordinate remediation of testing monographs to be fully compliant with current standards and practices in collaboration with global internal and external testing facilities
- Manage analytical method validations and method transfers in collaboration with global internal and external sites
- Review and approve analytical documents
- Comply with all company local and global policies including Quality frameworks, Code of Conduct, Corporate Citizenship, anti-discrimination, harassment, and health, safety and environment (HSE) policies
- Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management
