BACK AVAILABLE: NOW A TUESDAY-SATURDAY ROLE (5 DAY WEEK)

Operational Support Engineer (3rd Line) - 9 Months Contract - Surrey Location

My corporate client based in Surrey need a 3rd Line operational support engineer to come on board for a contract term lasting at least 9 months. This role is starting ASAP, and they are currently entertaining CV's as we speak.
The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, and daily duties will comprise of (but not limited to):

-Checking & Managing daily tickets coming through via the service desk
-General BAU Wintel support
-Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues etc.
-Working alongside the projects team
-Keeping the "lights on" (so to speak)

Technical skill-set include:

-VMware ESX (Ideally VCP Certified however not essential) - (4.1 - 5.5)
-Previous experience in a Wintel support environment
-Strong understanding of the ITIL framework (ITIL Certified not necessary but preferred)
-Windows Servers r2)- Preferable
