Description
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop and test a Decision Support Tool for customers in financial difficulty according to set business requirement documentation.
- Design and write macros that are maintainable, accessible and user friendly programs.
- Produce technical documentation for the solution including all SAS code.
- Liaise with business on business requirements documentation to ensure the successful delivery of the decision support tool.
- Develops, maintains and validates data structure and software.
Experience and Qualification
- A Bachelor's degree, in a quantitative or scientific discipline and a minimum of 4 years SAS programming experience
- Advanced SAS Programming Skills and experience incorporating Macros, Embedded Loops, Optimisation
- 5-6 years experience working with the business to understand business requirements and to deliver a solution which can be easily updated and maintained by the Business/Risk Analytics.
- Strong team player with the ability to influence the direction of development.
- Advanced SAS Certification an advantage.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and linking database tables using primary and secondary indices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem solving skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communications skills.
- Successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to liaise professionally with team members.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
