Data Warehouse Analyst
A leading Blue Chip client requires a Data Warehouse Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Helsinki, Finland
The Data Warehouse Analyst must have strong experience in the following areas:
*Physical data model design, development & implementation
*Data process flow design & development (ETL)
*Resolving complex technical issues for the team related to design, testing and performance
*Defining and implementing Data Capture processes from various sources and formats
*Following business requirements and demonstrating strong understanding of the business needs as well as the source operational systems
*Provision of clear & concise technical documentation
*Supporting the installation, benchmarking and configuration of DW production environments, as well as migration from existing pre-production environment
*Document recommendations about the reference architecture for the data warehousing solutions, mapping it within the specific Oracle environment
*Implement, test and performance tune ETL infrastructure and architecture according to agreed specifications
*High quality contribution to the enterprise data model
*Standard operating procedures for data warehouse tuning, backup, restore, administration and monitoring
*Produce clear and understandable documentation of the deliverables and DW Operations and installation manuals
