Key Responsibilities
Design and build robust and scalable solutions for Big Data problems
Rapid Development and design on JAVA/SCALA based Server Side software to prove the concept of prototypes
Ability to take general direction from lead architecture team members, but more importantly is able to work in an efficient and independent manner.
Desired Skills and Experience
B.Sc./M.Sc.in relevant discipline
5-7 years of applicable software development experience;
Demonstrated practical understanding of the specification, design, documentation, coding, testing and release of commercial software;
Fluent in JAVA and SCALA coding;
Hands-on coding experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Storm etc.)
Thorough knowledge of Big Data principles, architectures, and their implementations in large environments
