Description
*** SQL Server Developer (T-SQL / SSRS ) required - 3 months, Bristol ***SQL Server Developer (T-SQL / SSRS ) is required for an initial 3 month contract based in Bristol. You will be responsible for developing data integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform. This will include creating new / developing existing T-SQL Queries and Procedures, Reports, Exports, Data warehousing tasks and other data related tasks.

Essential Skills:
- T-SQL (Transact SQL) Development (both creating new and re-developing existing)
- Stored Procedures and triggers and views (both creating new and re-developing existing)
- SQL Server 2008 R
- SSRS Report writing (both creating new and re-developing existing reports from a different database schema)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Job Description:
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports
- Develop vendor and client exports that meet provided specifications
- Perform quality checks on reports and exports to ensure exceptional quality
- Monitor job and transfer queues to ensure they are functioning as expected
- Troubleshoot existing BIDS Packages / SQL Objects
- Enhance performance of queries / procedures
- Assist in the identification of trends and potential issues across the business
- Production and monitoring of KPIs across the business
- Liaise with internal departments to meet their reporting requirements
- Production of in-depth reports and informatics
- Create new / Develop existing SSRS / SSIS packages to meet business requirements throughout the full development lifecycle
- Set up and on-going maintenance of automated reports (internal)
- Set up and on-going maintenance of online reports suite (external)
Other comments:
Some out of hours work as required. Lieu time will be given under these circumstances
