Description
Embedded C Systems Engineer - Cornwall - 6 months +Embedded C Systems Engineer is required for a 6 months + contract based in Cornwall. The core duties will be to write specifications / develop prototype code, develop software to a high standard. You will also be required to test, debug, and document code methodically whilst developing software features for new and existing products.
Type - Contract (6 months +)
Location - Cornwall
Rates - £35 - £45 per hour
Start Date - ASAP
Essential Skills:
- C Programming on embedded systems
- Ability to read circuit schematics.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience programming Cortex/ARM/Freescale/PIC processors
- Digital electronic circuit design
- Electronic skills at component level (soldering, use of oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Understanding of serial communications/USB
- C++ Programming
- OO Software analysis & design
- Understanding of audio concepts
