Job Description (Senior Remedy Developer):

Graduate with university degree or technical diploma
- 3+ years programming experience developing solutions using BMC Remedy Action Request System.
- Development Experience BMC Action Remedy System 7.x or higher.
- Customization and Workflow modifications Experience Remedy V7.x or higher.
- Experience with Remedy Action Request Help Desk and Service Desk Software.
- Migration experience from Remedy ARS 7.x or higher.

Should be well versed with software development standards and industry best practices

Has worked in agile development model

Implements software solutions using BMC Remedy ARS applications in conjunction with the functional analyst(s). These designs may entail the use of industry best practices and methodologies. Verifies the completed software adheres to the agreed-upon specifications.

Produces the necessary documentation for any software developed. This documentation will range from standard in-source comments to end-user documentation, which may be done in cooperation with technical writers.
- Works with members of the QA team or User Acceptance Test (UAT) teams to ensure that the software has minimal defects and provides the desired functionality and performance before it is deployed.
- Works closely with the Manager of Development and Project Management to schedule development activities, report progress
- Participate in release cycles for external products requiring system changes
- Administer applications including software updates, configurations as well as user administration.
- Provide technical support and assistance to internal employees as appropriate.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Able to install and configure the BMC Remedy ARS, Mid-Tier, and email Engine.?
- Able to perform upgrades in BMC Remedy ARS.?
- Able to configure and maintain licenses for BMC Remedy ARS and client products.?
- Experienced Integrating the BMC Remedy ARS with a database engine.?
- Proficient programming with BMC Remedy ARS.?
- Experience working in a Microsoft Windows and Unix Sun Solaris environment required.
- BMC Certified Remedy Developer is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Communication skills are required
- Detailed Oriented, Proven ability to prioritize.

- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience working with the Remedy API a plus.
- Knowledge with Web Services- both in publishing and consuming.
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry.
