We are currently seeking a candidate that can fill the role of full-time Web Developer to work on a variety of online advertising and marketing products. Salary will depend on experience.



Job Duties

Contribute to the development and upkeep of web based initiatives

Collaborate with other developers & management to develop new products and features consistent with company roadmap

Translate user requirements into a well-defined software and system design

Experience working with QA for regression testing procedures, bugs, security patches.

Planning and Documentation writing for projects.

Manage time efficiently between multiple tasks.

Skills & Experience

2+ years experience in web development Full Stack.

1+ year experience working with at least one community-driven framework: Zend, Symfony, or Kohana preferred.

Strong PHP5 OOP chops.

Experienced with the features of PHP 5.3, PHP 5.4 and looking forward to PHP 5.5

Application of common design patterns, best practices, security techniques.

Ability to use Linux CLI for a variety of distributions.

Daily user of version control software, particularly Subversion.

Advanced MySQL skills - querying, optimization, indexing, complex joins and relationships, data architecture.

Knowledge of AJAX/JavaScript skills required, particularly jQuery.

Unit Tests - PHPUnit.

Planning and Documentation writing for projects.

Ability to integrate 3rd-party APIs in various formats.

Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently.

Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Skills Considered a Plus

Formal education in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Knowledge in mobile development and a willingness to expand.

Previous history in working remotely.

Experience with legacy code bases (procedural) using PHP5.2 or older, esp. PHP4

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow.

Experience with deployments using automated processes, esp. Phing.

ORM using any PHP library.

Fluent in other programming languages.
