SummaryArchitect role is entrusted with aligning technology activities with corporate strategy at every level of the organization. It takes vision and coordination of multiple architecture disciplines - business architecture, information architecture, technical architecture, and solutions architecture. Architects are technical business-people, rather than pure technicians, deeply involved in shaping and implementing corporate strategy and supporting business goals and objectives.
Major Role Responsibilities:
- Facilitate IT Strategy Planning and Roadmap development for lines of business and enterprise architecture domains;
- Lead global governance (across lines and geographies) for enterprise architecture through all Enterprise Lifecycle phases and engagement points;
- Ensure that IT Strategy and Roadmaps drive portfolio, program and project level implementation;
- Participate in external communities to influence architecture and technology standards to support objective
- Advance the development of Enterprise Architecture Community and continuous improvement of architecture processes, information management, organizational design, and solutions architecture consistently across the enterprise
- Serve in a leadership position for advancing architecture for a specific Line of Business, Enterprise Architecture Domain, or effort;
- Map business needs to enterprise reference architectures, standards and reusable assets thus ensuring alignment to business needs throughout the project architecture, engineering and implementation phases and ensuring time/quality/cost benefits
- Leverage requirements artifacts to design solutions that meet those requirements
- Identify, evaluate and leverage emerging and innovative approaches, frameworks and technologies where applicable
- Rationalize and simplify Enterprise Architecture (business, information, solutions or technology) where possible.
- Solutions Architect - A Solutions Architect will be responsible for ensuring architectural integrity and consistency with technology standards for initiatives within the Solutions Delivery portfolio.
- Oracle, data modelling, SQL, QA/data testing, Informatica.
- Pharma Commercial data, including Pharma Consumer, is highly preferred.
- Project initiation and project delivery skills are required.
- The Solution Engineer will get support from colleagues, but will need to able to work independently.
- In addition, the ability to work on several projects is a must.
