Job title: Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst
Location: Bradford
Contract: 3 months (with possible extension)
Rate: £300
Experience Required:
- AT LEAST 2 years' Knowledge of data sets and the contract challenge process'.
- Strong analytical skills, experience of turning customer business requirements into a report.
- Experience of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
- Experience in the collation, analysis and presentation of contracting information
- Awareness and understanding of commissioning data
- Strong analytical skills, with extensive experience of using database/spreadsheet software
- Experience in the production of key activity reports
- Experience in database development and automation of routine work.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out timely and accurate information analysis and reporting on agreed areas of portfolio (including primary, secondary and tertiary care data) and present findings in an agreed manner
- Analyse and manipulate complex data to provide key information for commissioners.
- Present contracting information in a clear and understandable format.
- Provide support as directed and within the skill set on multiple databases on multiple platforms, together with a small number of locally-developed information portals.
- Responsible for assisting the Business Intelligence Service in providing high quality, accurate and timely intelligence.
- Continually evaluate the quality of data submitted by Providers.
- Ensure that the specified information reports are completed to format and deadlines agreed with the customer.
- This will require the extraction of patient data from various sources, and will necessitate the reconciliation and validation of the data, resolving any data quality issues prior to publication and distribution
- To respond to ad hoc requests for information from CCGs, Customer 1 and other customers.
