Visual Designer - Glasgow based contract
Harvey Nash's client is looking to supplement its Glasgow based UX/UI team just now and is looking to recruit a talented UX/Visual Designer to join them on a long term contract. With keen eye for detail and strong visual design skills, you will be working as part of a growing and vibrant team on a variety of exciting projects.
This role will be well suited to people who are interested in information design and data visualisation and who love the details of crafting software interfaces and implicitly understand interaction design.
Skills Required
- Follow an iterative User
- Centred Design Processes
- Work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary design teams
- Create Detailed Interaction and User Interface Designs
- Create innovative visual language for User Interfaces
- Define and create graphic systems & style guides
Skills Desired
Strong Interaction Design Skills
Strong Visual Design & Communication Skills
Experience with Web application or Software design (AJAX/FLEX technologies)
Good writing skills
Financial Services industry experience a plus
