Are you a Conduct Risk Consultant with experience in regulatory or mortgage projects? Do you have experience within Financial Services? Our client is currently seeking Conduct Risk Consultants with Regulatory and Mortgage experience. The Client is a large financial services business based in the North West.
The role will require you to provide expert advice, pragmatic guidance and robust challenge to key stakeholders within the organisation. You will also provide leadership and subject matter expertise regarding regulatory and conduct risks and issues.
This role will include:
- Providing subject matter expertise, advice and challenging the business and projects on the evolving regulatory and conduct agenda to ensure customers outcomes remain the key priority.
- Providing expert advice and challenge on regulatory change initiatives, product launches/process changes/developments to protect customer interests.
- Providing expert advice, guidance and challenge to the development of the organisation's mortgage remediation policies.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships across the organisation by providing regulatory and conduct risk challenge and advice.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Subject matter expert in regulatory requirements applicable to the financial services sector specifically retail banking mortgages.
- Have in depth understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
- Possess detailed, up-to-date knowledge of internal and external Regulatory Risk developments and practices.
- Have good knowledge and experience of managing regulatory risk.
- Have a detailed understanding of conduct risk and its applicability to retail banking mortgages and its customers.
- Have an expert level of understanding and practical application of FCA requirements (primarily MCOB).
- Have Consumer Credit Act & CONC experience.
Remuneration: £600 per day depending upon experience
Duration: Initial 3 month contract with possibility to extend
