Software Engineer (Remote)

Description

We are looking for a talented full stack software engineer to join our team. The Dotsub stack currently consists of Java, Spring, Spring-MVC, Lucene and Hibernate.

You should have experience building complex highly interactive web applications. You should be comfortable learning new tools and moving between roles.

We are a 100% remote team. With employees in Ottawa, New York, Argentina and Italy.

Requirements:

3+ Experience with Java, Spring and Hibernate.

Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills

Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development

Software development experience in JSP, Spring, AWS, S3, SQS, Spring-MVC

jQuery, Prototype.js and HTML5 experience is a plus

Knowledge of Node/Python/Ruby or other scripting languages is a plus
