Electronics Engineer, Power Electronics Contract -I'm looking for an expert electronics engineer to join a world leading company who are looking to expand their team due to the success and demand of their product. One key component to the product is stable power supply. Therefore, it is critical the electronics engineer has a solid background in transformers, inverters, power supply and controls.
Key responsibilities:
* Customise the designs from the electronic design engineers to suit bespoke client requirements
* Where required, upgrade an existing product for a client
* Help with new product development of specific components and products. So an R&D element to the job
* Electrical application and design for manufacture. Read and understand electrical CAD diagrams
* Manage multiple projects, dealing with contracts and where necessary dealing with sales team or direct with end user
* Work on key power electronics, transformers and design coils
* Specify power distribution equipment (AC transformers)
Key requirements:
* Degree education (HNC or higher)
* Minimum 7 years commercial experience
* Power electronics, inverters, transformers
* Basic programming for control systems (PLC etc.)
* Read and understand CAD Electronics & Electrical drawings
* Come from a manufacturing / production background
