Description
We are currently looking to recruit SharePoint Engineer, in Poland.
The candidate will have responsibility for providing direction and hands-on assistance with designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining Enterprise SharePoint environments. The candidate must be skilled in architectural design, configuration and troubleshooting of SharePoint implementations. The candidate will perform a variety of tasks, and work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Essential Functions/Duties Performed Regularly:
Provide skilled assessments of current SharePoint environments, and provide recommendations on best practices
Work independently or in conjunction with onshore and offshore team members to implement design and configuration changes.
Develop and maintain run books, architecture diagrams, maintenance plans, and other platform related documents.
Assist with planning and deploying SharePoint patches and updates
Assist with planning Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations
Manage SharePoint Servers and Databases.
Provide 3rd level support to end-users and business units
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience installing, configuring and administrating 3-tier medium to large SharePoint farms
Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 in a SharePoint environment (*only knowledge)
Knowledge of IIS
Skilled using PowerShell to administrate and automate SharePoint (*advanced - writing own scripts)
Experience with supporting Enterprise level SharePoint environments using Enterprise Search, Business Intelligence, PerformancePoint and PowerPivot service applications and functionality
Experience in Office Web Apps 2013
Strong troubleshooting skills
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to mentor the team
Be a self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Education & Technical Experience:
3-5 years of related SharePoint Administration experience, including a minimum of 1-2 years building, configuring and administrating multi-tier SharePoint 2013 Farms
Minimum of 5-10 years of overall experience supporting or engineering in a Microsoft environment - including, administration or demonstrated experience in Microsoft Technologies such as managing Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Windows Server
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience
Licenses or Certification:
MCITP in SharePoint Administration
MCSE (SharePoint 2013) a plus
