One of our leading clients is looking to recruit an Internal Auditor/Senior Risk Analyst.
Location - West Midlands
Duration - 6 months
Day rate - Negotiable
Role/Skills:
*Supporting the Life Finance Risk Managers in providing internal 'expertise' on risk management and assisting Life Finance Senior Managers in ensuring adherence to the internal governance infrastructure and Risk Management Framework
*Where necessary, working with senior managers across Life Finance to assist in the assessment of risks and the design and implementation of controls in conjunction with the Groups risk appetite, ensuring that appropriate control documentation exists and that on-going analysis of the control environment is conducted and challenged
*Identifying on-going improvements to the control environment and lead on the delivery of solutions to ad-hoc risk and control related issues
*Supporting Life Finance Risk Managers in the embedding of Solvency II validation and maintaining responsibility for key Line 1 validation processes, including Weakness & Limitations, Expert Judgement & Change Assurance.
*Extensive internal controls knowledge (particularly finance or actuarial-related). This should have honed the ability to quickly and accurately identify the objectives of a team's activities/processes, the risk exposures against achieving those objectives and the adequacy of the control environment.
*Exposure to project management and be confident in planning, performance of, and reporting on controls reviews. Confident in performing reviews across a wide variety of activities.
*Any Accountancy or Actuarial experience beneficial
