Senior Embedded Software Engineer/Contract/Belgium:
My client a leading organisation who specialise in telecommunication and media entertainment based in Belgium are currently seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to come on board and join the team on a contract basis for 6 months.
The successful candidate will be involved in developing, testing and validating firmware for Embedded devices, including power management, memory management, Bluetooth and Ethernet communications, Embedded displays and general supervisory control/management.
Ensuring work product is of high quality through the use of best practices like thorough code documentation and the use of automated code analysis tools. Analysing Microprocessor architecture, compiler efficiency and software constructs to craft world-class code and developing and executing unit, system and functional test plans.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related technical field
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field of software development
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer
Highly proficient in C and C++
Very good written and spoken English
Good German
Demonstrated communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
The ability to lead small teams
