We are currently looking for a Software Architect for a long-term project in Brussels.
Software Architect (Java, PHP, .NET), Brussels / Luxembourg for conception, design, coordination of the implementation of technical architectures and supporting infrastructures for 2 years project + in Brussels or Luxembourg
Required technology experience
· Enterprise Architecture including but not limited to BPM, SOA, as well as Data, Information and Knowledge Management
· Development methodology, application life cycle management and reference applications based on JEE frameworks as well as the latest web UI technologies (Javascript, REST, jQuery)
· Interoperability platform between information systems for exchange of electronic data and documents and electronic business processes.
· Identity and access management (based on multiple protocols such as CAS, SAML, WS*)
· Multilingual web development with Open Source Drupal or equivalent (and the LAMP software stack)
· Management and evolution of SharePoint portal platforms or equivalent
· Internet applications design (Web 2.0 technologies)
· Java, PHP or .Net, (SharePoint ) technologies
Task description
· Conception, design, coordination of the implementation and quality assessment of information systems technical architectures and supporting infrastructures
· Analysis and design reviews of information systems enterprise-, information- and application component architectures
· Assistance with the implementation of the technical architecture during information system infrastructure development projects
· Risks and costs/benefits analysis of ICT solutions
· Elaboration of guidelines and recommendations concerning technical architecture in software development, taking into account the existing infrastructure at the European Commission and its evolution.
