QA Junior Software Tester, The Virtual Forge in Lisbon, Portugal
We are looking for a proactive, pragmatic and enthusiastic QA Junior Software Tester for our growing team in Portugal.
Our company has seen extensive growth in the last year and we are happy to be opening up this opportunity for a 3 month contract with a good perspective of becoming permanent.
Main Responsibilities
- Able to execute rigorous unit tests on desktop and mobile software, recording the results of the tests, including documentation of anomalies and issues.
- Clear, concise and confident when communicating with the rest of the testing team as well as with technical people.
Technical Requirements
- Good knowledge of application life cycle
- Experience of UNIT/UAT/Regression testing
- ISEB Software Testing certified is an advantage
- Good SQL skills
- At least 1 year of experience working in a test environment
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (like Selenium) or load testing tools (like JMeter) is an advantage
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Able to work within a team, but with great autonomy
The successful candidate will be expected to be deadline driven and articulate. The nature of this position will go across a range of projects, so you will be able to micro manage your time and be flexible in the day to day approach.
