Description
We are supporting a Global Renewable Energy client in their search for a Foundation Supervisor for their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for the individual to be able to commence this role approx. 1st July 2015 up until approx. 31st July 2016 with the possibility of further extensions. The work pattern will be full time 8hrs per day.Responsibilities:
Foundation Supervisor:
- A sound knowledge of general heavy steel workshop fabrication
- Mechanical Engineering degree or other relevant education
- Certified welding inspector
- Follow-up on progress at workshop OSB
- Review OSB progress reports
- Participate in technical meetings
- Follow-up on technical issues at OSB
- Generating internal progress/technical reports to the client
- Having daily contact with the client related to technical issues
- Support OSB with technical issues
- Take part of and follow-up on possible NCR documentation coming from OSB
- Participate in dimensional inspections
- Review OSB material, dimension quality documentation
