Front End Developer | CSS | HTML | JavaScript | London
Front End Developer with very strong experience with CSS, HTML and JavaScript urgently needed for 6 month contract based in London.
Required skills:
CSS/HTML
JavaScript, jQuery, JSON
Cross browser compatibility and debugging
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work and communicate with Business Users, Product and Project Managers
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to quality deliverables; attention to detail, process oriented
Code review and effective knowledge sharing
Strong knowledge of and committed to user-focused development
Desirables:
Version control software: GIT or Mercurial
HTML5
XML, XSLT
JavaScript frameworks, eg Backbone, Angular
Client side template engines. eg Handlebars
Unit Testing, TDD, Continuous Integration
Experience on working with Web Content
Experience of working in rapid and Agile environments
Experience of developing UIs for data-rich solutions
Accountabilities:
Work with the UX team, Product Manager and Product developers to build a high fidelity visionary prototype
Development manager and Project manager to drive estimating, planning, track status report, performance improvement
Influence the wider team and advocate best practices, contribute to definition and delivery of scalable solutions
Consistently meet deadlines as defined by project schedules and/or SLAs with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate ownership of team commitments, proactively manage expectations and raise awareness of incoming risks or issues
