Field Debt Operations Manager/Debt Management - Nottingham

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Field Debt Operations Manager to develop, direct, lead, control and motivate a high performing value driven and cost effective Field Debt Operation (office and field based for a large client based in Nottingham.

This is a key role that has a significant impact upon both cash flow and the profit and loss of Retail by
controlling and reducing the level of bad debt write off and provisioning.

Managers for this role. Working on Call Centre projects is essential for this role.

Key Skill Requirements: (knowledge, skills, experience & qualifications)
*A minimum of 5 years operational and risk management experience in Credit and Debt management in a large consumer or financial services company
*A good understanding of credit and debt management best practice in the UK
*Experience in implementing change in debt management processes and controls
*High energy level, performance driven and good communicator
*Robust and resilient
*Knowledge of commercial, contract and company law, regulatory, legal and practice industry constraints to debt collection activities
*Developed verbal, critical and numerical reasoning skills developed in a complex organisational environment
*Competent in the management, performance management and co-ordination of employees within field based teams
*Good facilitation, presentation and influencing skills
*A proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
*Demonstrable commitment to providing first class customer service
*Unstinting drive and energy to succeed and create excellence in all aspects of the role
*The ability to create & successfully implement change
*The ability to build & influence effective working relationships at all levels within & outside the organisation
*Knowledge of Business continuity, Health, Safety and Environment plans in a field based work force
