Senior Data Architect - Leading Global Insurance Brand - per dayA leading insurance brands seeks a Senior Data Architect to join the Group Projects IT Team. You will be in charge of the design of complex Data and Financial reporting solutions in the life insurance sector for the employer's business critical BI platform.
Responsibilities:
*Designing complex Data (interfaces, controls, quality) and Financial reposting solutions in the life insurance sector
*Working closely with Business and Technical teams in order to drive BI initiatives forward
*Continued enhancements and Greenfield implementations on BI Data Warehouse Infrastructures
*Working with a BI model that will aid ongoing business expansion
*Manage technical and development team in order to roll out BI design blueprints
*Create and maintain technical, end-user and training documentations
Requirements:
*Experience in Financial Consolidation and Business Processes within the Insurance Sector
*Atrong knowledge of complete Data design interfaces and controls
*Strong background in data warehouse and reporting solutions
*Technical knowledge and hands on experience with at least one of the leading Data Integration (ETL) tools (Informatica, SSIS) is essential
*At least 5-8 years of BI work experience on Business Intelligence platforms ideally with hands on experience with at least one of the leading reporting tools (Qlikview, Tableau)
*Strong previous track record of implementing a BI system for a large MNC (2 million USD and above)
*Functional knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one of the leading databases (SQL, Oracle)
*Knowledge of data requirements and solutions for regulatory reporting in the Insurance sector
*Excellent design architecture skills
*Exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills required
*Must be willing to participate in all aspects of the project including being very hands on and versatile.
